hile BC's first bouncing baby, a boy weighing 8 pounds, 9 ounces, was born at 12:15 a.m. January 1 at Surrey Memorial Hospital, Chilliwack's first baby, a big strapping boy, Jude Francis Stanley Carr, clocked into the world weighing 9 pounds, 7 ounces right on time at 10:11 a.m., January 2 via C-section at Chilliwack General Hospital.

"We're all in love," Anna Carr told The Voice in a telephone interview Sunday. "He's beautiful."

For the Carr's, who've been married for three years, this is the second addition to the family. They already have a two-year-old and they aren't sure about having any more just yet.

It’s tough naming babies to say the least. But for Anna, Alliance Church Children and Families pastor and her husband Dain Carr, who works at the Pacific Dairy Centre in Abbotsford, naming their bouncing bundle of joy was easy—they sang it. And hey, it won't be long before Jude learns the words to his song.

Ironically, also born on this day in 1955, American session musician, guitarist, bassist, singer–songwriter and musical director, Brian Ray, best known for his work as a rhythm guitarist and bassist with Paul McCartney.

Thanks to Fraser Health's Aletta Vanderheyden for her assistance and Anna for the photos.

Hey Jude, don't be afraid

You were made to go out and get her

The minute you let her under your skin

Then you begin to make it better

And anytime you feel the pain, hey Jude, refrain

Don't carry the world upon your shoulders

For well you know that it's a fool who plays it cool

By making his world a little colder

Nah nah nah nah nah nah nah nah nah

Hey Jude, don't let me down

You have found her, now go and get her

Remember to let her into your heart

Then you can start to make it better

So let it out and let it in, hey Jude, begin

You're waiting for someone to perform with

And don't you know that it's just you, hey Jude, you'll do

The movement you need is on your shoulder

Nah nah nah nah nah nah nah nah nah yeah

Hey Jude, don't make it bad

Take a sad song and make it better

Remember to let her under your skin

Then you'll begin to make it

Better better better better better better, oh
