reaches out to constituents the good old fashioned way

you want to meet a politician, normally you make an appointment and go
into their office. But if you happened to drop by Decades Coffee Club on
Wellington Ave. Saturday morning, you would have found Chilliwack MLA
John Martin in his new office. That is, his new office for an hour each
Martin wanted to reach out to constituents he represents in a more
relaxed space, so he chose the popular coffee shop for some good old
fashioned one-on-one interaction.
He says reaching out to the community is his "first and foremost task."

constituency office and we can do that in e-mail but there's nothing
like sitting downtown in a coffee shop and just having a chat with
somebody," he said.
