Long-time Chilliwack resident shares her world of experience

yrtle Macdonald has finished her book "People Migrations in Europe and America" and Chilliwack gets dibs on the first fifty tomes.

It was a whirlwind finish. Earlier n December Macdonald said she was busy proofreading her book before ordering the first copies. The next thing you know the books were on her doorstep even before the ink was dry.

No one is more pleased than Macdonald herself about the whole project.

"I gave copies of my book to my two siblings and one to the Waverly itself, for all the Assisted Living guests," she wrote in an email.

"According to the book's back cover,  Macdonald, having all her life had a keen interest in history, "realized that there were and are many important aspects omitted, or barely mentioned by all historians, whether Roman Catholic, Protestant or Secular, throughout the ages."
