New Year prompts CVAA art show with zeal

Released by Mary Main, Chilliwack Visual Arts Association

ewest and Best is our CVAA memberís choice of a theme for the first show of the season.

There are 28 local artists participating in Newest and Best, with a total of 57 pieces of art work, in a very colourful and interesting exhibit!

This seems very appropriate for the start of a new year, with fresh ideas and fresh enthusiasm for our 2015 season.

"Perhaps one painter is thinking of spring, with itsí new growth; another of the colours of nature, possibly in abstract? New beginnings in another artistís mind, using design , fabric, and texture?," says CVAA spokesperson Mary Main. "All of this will make a very interesting first exhibit in 2015."
