Local restaurant makes huge Food Bank donation

R MIKES supported The Chilliwack Chiefs “Fill the Rink” campaign by donating a $1 of the sale of every Mikeburger to the Salvation Army between November 24 to December 24.

 

"We're proud that the sale of our Mikeburgers could make a small contribution to The Chilliwack Chiefs' annual Fill the Rink campaign. It's heart-warming to see our local community rally around this cause and show their support to help those in need, especially during the holiday season." John Choi, Chilliwack MR MIKES General Manager.

 

In total, MR MIKES donated $1526 to the Salvation Army on behalf of the Fill the Rink campaign.

 

Overall, the community brought in over 5000 pounds of food on the game night (Sunday, December 28) which was donated to the Salvation Army.
