very great idea gets its start somewhere. Most don't begin big, they build up to it. Such is the case with Chances Casino Chilliwack Toy Drive which just turned two.

A group of people stood outside Chances Casino on Young Rd. bracing against the cool and breezy Sunday morning. It was the 2nd Annual Chances Toy Drive for Chilliwack Community Services.

For two-and-a-half hours, all kinds of wonderful people drove through, or walked up, with new unwrapped toys and were given a breakfast wrap and a hot beverage to go by staff from the casino and Murray Honda car dealership.

In their first year at it, the Chances team took in about 100 toys.

"Last year, Justin Mallard from Murray Honda, partnered with us and we were definitely on-board and we kind of threw it together at the last minute. This year we were able to plan a little bit better and get some other partners like StarFM on-board and it's a little bit bigger next year and grow even more," said Chances Food and Beverage manager Mehdi Elhaimer.

Chances Casino is located at 8180 Young Road . Visit them online at www.chanceschilliwack.com. Watch for their entertainment posters on the Voice featuring live acts at the Well.
