he Chilliwack Community Arts Council presents the Chilliwack Children’s Art Festival. A fun-filled day of entertainment and activities for kids of all ages!

Through the generosity of the community of sponsors and funders, the Community Arts Council is thrilled to bring back the Children’s Art Festival to Chilliwack. It was first held in the late 1980's at the old Art Centre and expanded to four days to include school groups.

“It’s back and we are excited!” expressed the Chilliwack Arts Council’s Executive Director, Patti Lawn. “We thank our supporters! Our staff and volunteers are busy getting prepared to present live professional performances and numerous art activities that will delight all family members on this one day event!” The grounds of G.W. Graham Middle-Secondary School will be transformed into a myriad of enticing art stations for all to enjoy.

Highlights of the festival include Vancouver’s circus performing arts society—CircusWest! An all-ages feast for the eyes show, CircusWest will perform at 11 A.M. at the G.W. Graham Theatre. Other highlights include Creation Stations, performances by the Purple Pirate, roving characters, art and dance workshops, live music and much much more. If you’re not already excited, concession and food trucks will also be available to serve up their delicious fare!

The festival will take place on September 19th from 10am to 4pm on the grounds of the G.W. Graham Middle-Secondary School at 45955 Thomas Road. General festival admission ticket is $8 per person or a family of 4 for $28. CircusWest performance ticket is $5 per person for general seating at the G.W. Graham Theatre.

From hands-on creation, visual arts, activities, live performances and theatre, the Chilliwack Children’s Arts Festival will be a truly unique and exciting fun-day family experience!

Festival and CircusWest tickets are on sale now online at or at the Art Room, 20-5725 Vedder Rd or call 604.769.2787. Tickets are also available at the G.W. Graham School gate on the day of the event. There’s limited seating available for the CircusWest performance.
