Live Music

Back to Her Roots

Terri Clark unplugged in Mission Nov 8

Rob Warwick,

n Alberta girl at the top of her game TERRI CLARK got her start playing for tips at Nashville’s legendary honky-tonk Tootsie’s Orchid Lounge.

From such humble beginnings she emerged as a distinctive voice on the country music landscape – driving, passionate, and spirited.  Such distinction plays clearly in Terri’s hits “Better Things to Do”, “When Boy Meets Girl”, “Poor Poor Pitiful Me”, “ Emotional Girl”, “You’re Easy on the Eyes”, “Everytime I Cry”, “I Wanna Do it All”, “Northern Girl”, “I Just Wanna Be Mad” and “Girls Lie Too ” to name just a few.

TERRI CLARK is an 8-time CCMA Entertainer of the Year, 5-time Female Vocalist of the Year and 3-time Juno Award winner for Best New Solo Artist (1997), Best Country Female Artist (2001) and Country Album of the Year (Roots and Wings 2012).

In addition, she still holds the honor of being the only Canadian female artist to be a member of the Grand Ole Opry.  She has sold over four million albums with 13 Top Ten singles including 6 Number Ones in Canada and the USA.

This dynamic, no-holds-barred live performer recently honed her skills on the other side of the radio as part of NASH on America’s Morning Show. In April 2016 she became host of Country Gold, a four-hour Classic Country radio show airing on more than 100 stations across the US.

One of the rare female country artists capable of throwing down some impressive guitar work, Terri will perform her catalog of hits in a stripped down setting along with the stories behind the songs.
