he February Urban X Events comedy show at the Coast Hotel was hilarious. Those seeking laughs got their money's worth and then some.

Urban X Events is doing it again with a whole new line-up for an Evening of Comedy at the Coast Hotel on Saturday, May 3rd.

Featured on the bill is droll doll Erica Sigurdson, star of CBC Radio's smash hit The Debaters, has also had multiple appearances at the Montreal Just For Laughs TV showcase as well as Comedy Festivals in Winnipeg, Halifax, Vancouver and Edmonton.

Sigurdson is highly sought after for radio, television and live appearances.

In addition to her twenty-seven appearances on The Debaters, Erica has recorded five television specials in 2013 alone. Among her many credits, she also won the Leo Award for best comedy screenwriting.

Sigurdson will be joined by Ryan Patterson who's billed as Western Canada's "newest hottest comic".

Originally from Winnipeg, Manitoba and now living in Vancouver, Ryan was featured on CBC Radio's “So you think you're funny” after only 9 months of doing standup. Since then, he's tripped the light fantastic all over Western Canada and even landed some work with the Trailer Park Boys, Harland Williams and Bob Kelly to mention a few.

An example of Patterson's humor can be found on his website where he says "If you're a highly skilled computer hacker, please don't do anything crazy to my website."

Rounding out this laughable trio is crowd favourite Sunee Dhaliwal who is another rising star on the circuit. He's made multiple TV appearances on Just for Laughs showcases and MTV, recorded for XM Radio and produced a special on CTV called Comedy Now!
