hilliwack Community Services is putting the Mary Street building up for sale in April.

“The decision to sell reflects our organization’s vision of being a leading provider of services in the community,” commented James Challman, Executive Director at Chilliwack Community Services.

Challman noted that the ownership of the Mary Street site no longer fits the organization’s operating model, and that some changes are required to address the organization’s future growth. This move will allow for greater flexibility to meet the future needs of the organization and to solidify the organization’s focus of delivering top-quality services for the people in the community.

Clients and staff at the Mary Street location will not be affected by the sale. We are committed to carrying on business as usual, despite proposed changes in ownership. Chilliwack Community Services will remain at the Mary Street location and will continue to play an important role in serving the surrounding community. We appreciate your patience and understanding during this transition.

Chilliwack Community Services is an independent local charity organization with offices downtown and in Sardis. Since 1928 the agency has provided caring community services with people to make positive change in their lives.
