reating a business is difficult. You need the idea of course, ambition, passion and hard work. But the base of any company are its employees.
Established in 2008, Centurion has become a leader in temperature-controlled transportation services to many of the major food and beverage manufacturers across North America.
Last month, once again Centurion Trucking Inc. was ranked number one in the Transportation and Logistics Industry, and thirteenth overall, on the 2017 annual PROFIT 500 list, the definitive ranking of Canada’s fastest-growing companies.
"Centurion Trucking is honoured to have ranked so highly on the PROFIT 500 list," says CEO Harpreet Kalsi. "This achievement reflects the commitment of our drivers, and the dedication of our entire team to deliver above and beyond on our customers’ expectations."
Published in the October issue of Maclean’s magazine and at CanadianBusiness.com, the PROFIT 500 identifies the most dynamic and successful businesses in Canada based on their five-year revenue growth. Centurion Trucking has tripled in revenue, year-over-year for the last five years due to its exceptional customer service, attracting clients that include Cargill, FedEx, and Nestle.
PROFIT 500 program manager Deborah Aarts says getting on the 2017 list is particularly impressive. "It is never easy to earn a spot on the PROFIT 500, but this year’s applicant pool was the most competitive yet," says Aarts. "This year’s winners demonstrate the resilience, innovation and sheer management smarts it takes to build a thriving business today. Canada—and the world—needs more entrepreneurial success stories like these."
