Woman riding mobility scooter clipped in lot
There was no shortage of passersby willing to help paramedics and first responders treat an injured woman at Salish Plaza on Saturday.
ust before 3 p.m. on Saturday, a woman in a mobility wheelchair tangled with a vehicle at Salish Mall.
BC Ambulance paramedics and first responders saw to the elderly woman who fell and bashed her head and injured her leg.
The woman's condition was not known, however she was alert and responsive when transported to Chilliwack General Hospital.
It's unclear who was at fault, but mobility chair users need to take extra precautions especially when in parking lots because drivers can't see them until the last second.
