Farmer's Market and Community Dinner September highlights

next Ryder Lake Event is the Annual Ryder Lake Farmers' Market and
Taste of Ryder Lake Dinner on September 22 at Ryder Lake Hall.
Farmers' Market at 1pm
Taste of Ryder Lake Dinner at 6pm
The Farmers' market is open to anyone wishing to sell, produce,
preserves etc - hopefully made from food you grew locally.
There is no charge for tables at this event as we are encouraging
participants, young and old to get involved.
Peter and Patrick will be there with a range of jams & preserves as
well as fruits and some vegetables.
Please let me know if you will be wanting to book a table via e-mail
The Pot Luck dinner is also Ryder Lake oriented - ideally you bring
something made from Ryder Lake produce (if you can). The range of
foods presented at this event is alway amazing and it is always a
well attended fun community event.

You may also be interested to know Patrick and Dorothy and their
Ryder Lake Incredible Edibles group have taken on a new project.
Starting September 4th they are catering lunches at the Vedder
Legion Tuesday to Saturday. The Legion is open to the public (you
just have to sign their Guest Book) so if you want stop in and check
out their gourmet lunches they would be pleased to see you and it
would help out the local Legion (5661 Vedder) at the same time.
