Makin' Memories

'Fall is a time for remembering'

Submitted by Mary Main Chalmers, CVAA Publicity coordinator

he Chilliwack Visual Artists Association member’s latest show opened on Saturday the 15th with a well-attended reception at the Gallery of the Chilliwack Museum.

The paintings on show come from many and diverse backgrounds, and represent many different countries besides Canada. Among them are Austria, Scotland, Turkey, and France to name but a few.

There are paintings and photographs from some of Chilliwack’s finest artists, so come and see for yourselves. The leaves are floating past my window as I write, golden in the sunshine. It means fall is here, a time for remembering. Please come and walk down memory lane with us.

The exhibit is open at the Museum until November 8th.

There is a small charge of $2 for non CVAA members, to help to keep this important Chilliwack museum open.
