Better for Business

Online invoicing for superior cash flow management
By Tashon Ziara

ime is money, it’s a truism that really strikes home when you’re in business for yourself,” says Shawn Good, President & CEO of Prospera, one of BC’s largest credit unions. “Our priority as a financial partner to local business owners is to find innovative ways to free up more of their time to focus on business, so we’re very excited to be the first financial institution in Canada to offer an invoicing solution for business that is fully integrated into online banking.”

Beginning October 16, Prospera’s business members have access to an invoicing tool that enables them to:

•  Quickly and easily create invoices

•  Customize invoice templates

•  Email invoices directly from online business banking

•  Manage and edit customer information

•  View the status of accounts receivable

•  Reconcile accounts for better cash-flow management

Businesses that register for online invoicing now will receive a free trial until March 1, 2018, giving them lots of time to try out the new service free of charge. Members who sign up after March 1, will also get a one-month free trial. After the trial period, the service will cost just $5 per month.

“Entrepreneurs can’t afford to waste time inputting and re-inputting information, says Prospera’s Chief Information Officer, Greg Dyck, who worked closely on the project with Central 1 Credit Union, the digital banking solutions provider that developed the invoicing platform. “Having the cutting-edge technology to add comfort, convenience and peace of mind when it comes to managing and reconciling invoices online will mean a great deal to the financial well-being of our business members.”

Prospera’s Mobile Banking App will also include Business Invoicing shortly. To learn more about integrated online invoicing, visit prospera.ca.
