he football season is over for the Valley Huskers football team, but the work off the field is just starting. With most organizations, there is a season for fundraising and for the Huskers it’s starting right now. 

Over the next two months the board and volunteers will be manning a table or booth at an event near you. They will be selling raffle tickets on the latest food draw. A new 7 cubic foot freezer filled with 250 pounds of high grade beef and $1000 of groceries will be first prize. A $250 cash card will be the second prize. 

Tickets are only $10 each and are available at Save on Foods Downtown store, at Chances Casino and on-line at www.valleyhuskers.org. There is a limited number of tickets being sold, so don’t miss out.

The Huskers wish to thank JNB Appliance Services Ltd, Precision Design Building Associates, Save on Foods, Chances Casino and the BC Lottery Corporation for their support of this endeavour. 

A cash donation will be given to the Chilliwack Community Food bank following the announced of the winner on December 17th.
