ouchstones Nelson Museum of Art and History will once again open the entire building to people of all ages for a fun and free event, Museum Mash.

Mark your calendar for Sunday, November 18th and get ready to spend the day exploring your museum, galleries and archives in ways you never expected! See more here.


All four floors of Touchstones’ historic building will be a hub of activity, with crafts, workshops and performances in the museum, the galleries and the archives. Drag Queen Chase Adams, clown Marya Folinsbee, dancer Slava Duval and many more will be entertaining in the galleries, surrounded by two brand new exhibitions Lost Thread a group textile exhibit and 402 Anderson Street: A History.


Museum Mash is the perfect opportunity for people of all ages to explore the art and history that is all around us in the beautiful historic building that is Touchstones Nelson. Children of all ages will be encourage to expand their imaginations and explore the depths of their creativity. There will also be quiet spaces for snack time or lunch and families can choose to spend one more, or the full day at the Museum.

Admission is free, and events will be held throughout the day Sunday, November 18th from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
