Coupland seeks talent for VAG fundraiser and Towering Ambition Award

ouglas Coupland, world renowned artist, sculptor, writer and designer is crowdsourcing his next art project and inviting local talent to participate in support of the Vancouver Art Gallery. 

This unique fundraiser has Douglas Coupland presenting the Towering Ambition Contest, commissioning LEGO works by Vancouver firms to win a place in his Spring 2014 exhibit presented by the Vancouver Art Gallery: Douglas Coupland: everywhere is anywhere is  anything is everything.
 
Teams of architects, engineers, designers, and artists will engage in competitive LEGO play, to showcase their creativity, vision and ambition. Coupland will provide each team with a generous amount of LEGO building supplies, and each group will have exactly one week to complete their tower. The winning entry receives the Towering Ambition Award and presentation within Coupland’s 2014 exhibit at the Fuse Festival.
