Stó:lō Remembrance Day Ceremony
Hundreds show up for at Resource Centre to pay respect to war dead

Sto:lo drummers lead the procession to the veteran's cenotaph where trees are dedicated to the families of soldiers lost in combat.

least two-hundred people marched in a wreath laying procession in memory of
those soldiers, both Native and non-Native, who lost their lives in service
to their country.
The Honourable Barry Penner, Minister of Aboriginal Relations and Reconciliation carried BC's flag and walked with councillor Diane Janzen who carried the Chilliwack flag. A buffet lunch was provided to everyone who attended.
