Riding, Rolling and Raising Money
Stream and CGH employees combine to raise almost $5000 for the BC Heart and Stroke Foundation

Chilliwack General Hospital "Guys 'n Dolls" made the most of the rain and had fun last week during their fundraising ride on the mega-ped.
he Heart and Stroke Foundation thanks the “Stream Dream Team” and “Chilliwack Hospital Guys & Dolls” team for showing off their Big Hearts by riding the Heart&Stroke Big Bike on May 3rd, 2012.
These two teams raised more than $4860 in support of the Heart and Stroke Foundation. The money raised will help fund life-giving research, health promotion and advocacy programs here in British Columbia.
The Heart & Stroke Big Bike is one of the primary community fundraising events for the Heart and Stroke Foundation. This bicycle built for 30 travels across Canada from April to September, making its way along high-profile routes through more than 200 communities in nine provinces. The Big Bike is eight feet across at the wheels and 30 feet long.
The Heart and Stroke Foundation, a volunteer-based health charity, leads in eliminating heart disease and stroke and reducing their impact through the advancement of research and its application, the promotion of healthy living, and advocacy.
