All-star Musicians play Tractorgrease March 15

Ewan Macintyre/Photos Amy Braun

"Like Robert Johnson returned from the crossroads, is a welcome moment in the future of Scottish music.” is a show not to be missed.

n anticipation of his forthcoming album release in late 2017 the band will tour across Canada, the UK and northern Europe promoting Ewans latest single “Champagne in Heaven”.

Written and performed for the funeral of Ewan's grandfather in October 2016. The song is a rounded pensive perspective on life.

Themes of time, love, loss and adventure prevail and are dealt with through a mixture of sincerity and humour. Recorded by upcoming Montreal based producer/ engineer Patrick Steele and featuring an all star cast of musicians from across the western globe.

Together with his band from Canada and Scotland, Ewan Macintyre weaves his own blend of folk pop traditions. Hailed as “a welcome moment in the future of Scottish music” (mumble music @ Celtic Connections 2016), live shows feature beautiful string arrangements, ripping solos, soaring harmonies and heartfelt lyrical content.
