What's Up?

Meet local fish and wildlife experts and learn about local conservation activities June 21

raser Valley Conservatncy is holding an informal meeting with special guests Dave Harper from BC Conservation Foundation and Kristine Schlamp from Abbotsford Soil Conservation Association, each speaking about projects and programs that their organizations are involved in. This is a great chance to learn what these groups are doing and how you can get involved!

Everyone is welcome, and light refreshments will be provided.

There are some great events happening in June at Cultus, see below:

June 2 – Canoe Races at Cultus Lake

June 9 – 80th anniversary of Cultus Lake Park with salmon statue unveiling at 12:30 at Mainbeach (thanks to SEP), and live 17 piece 40’s band at 2 pm.

June 16 – Greg Clark Memorial Fishing Derby (a.k.a.Cultus Pikeminnow Derby) – At Cultus Lake - Come and fish predators, See community group displays. Lot of prizes. Raffle tickets at Fred’s Custom Tackle. One in 4 chances of winning.

June 23 – Ugly Bug Ball V, A volunteer appreciation Dinner/Gathering – rsvp here.
