Car Show Throttles City

Village Classic takes over downtown Chilliwack Sunday

hen the car show comes to Chilliwack, it's parking room only.

On Sunday, more than 300 glistening pre-1974 autos lined several blocks downtown for the Village Classic.

The event this year built upon the successes of previous shows and had two stages; one at the clock tower and another next to Central Community Park featuring local bands and a beauty pageant with high-performance models in 1950s style dresses.
