Canucks games are community hockey nights in Chilliwack

A hockey stick goes flying and crowds cheer as the Canucks win Wednesday at Prospera Centre

 

hilliwack hockey fans got a break in the weather Thursday evening for the game one of the Stanley Cup Final. Canucks on the big 11'x17' screen that was setup behind Prospera Centre. Fans had popcorn, nachos, non-alcoholic drinks, big sound, and everyone stood for the anthem. So without the skytrain ride, high-priced tickets and possibly wild crowds in Vancouver, could it be that taking in the game at Prospera is better than being at Rogers Arena? There's only one way to find out – Saturday, 5 pm for game two.
