Party in the Park for Western Night sponsored by KPMG.
Every summer the Downtown BIA has eight themed event nights at the park which showcases local talent on the Star 98.3 Entertainment Stage.
Capella Dance group kicked the show off followed by Chilliwack Sr. Sec R & Business school band, the Steve Delamar Blues Band, solo artist Paul Filek, Indo-Folk fusion Ranj Singh & the Discriminators and rock and rollers Blind Pigeon closed the evening performances.
The Safeway Kids Zone has all kind of things to keep the little cowpokes happy with face painting, bounce castles, midway games and an assortment of activities.
The next Party in the Park is 5pm on Friday August 5. The planned theme is Circus Night which will also feature a "Canine Idol" contest as well as Capella Dance, Mexican Band, Goddess Movement, Rags to Radio, Tractorgrease Folk, Cam Latimer Band and the ChillBillies on stage for your enjoyment.
The park is located at the corner of Victoria Ave. and Young Rd.
