approximately 10 P.M. Saturday, the CFD were called out to a
building at the corner of Young Rd. and Nowell St. It's unclear what
the issue was. One neighbour said they thought they smelled melting
plastic, another said they thought they smelled gas. The building
was not evacuated. Paramedics attended as a precaution and RCMP
closed off Nowell to traffic. More later as details emerge.
