Java sippers slurp for shekels at Starbucks

The community came together last Wednesday in support of the CFD's Charitable Society.

ednesday, January 25, 2012 was the opening of the new Eagle Landing Starbucks Coffee store.  To mark the event Starbucks opened its doors at 5 pm and offered all food and beverages by donation.

All monies raised were given to the Chilliwack Fire Department’s Charitable Society.

The event was very well attended with $1350.62 raised.  The Charitable Society would like to thank Starbucks, all the customers and firefighters that donated their time and money to this event.
