The Polite Bandit

Thief asks for cash and then helps himself to the till

lone male wearing a black balaclava walked into a Subway Restaurant on Yale Rd. Tuesday evening just after 7 P.M. and demanded cash.

"Please give me the money," he said and then helped himself to the till.

No weapon was seen during the robbery and the thief fled on foot with an undisclosed sum of money. Police immediately set up a perimeter in an attempt to capture the robber, who was described as possibly being Native and wearing a dark blue Addidas-type track suit jacket with white stripes on it and black pants.
