Valley Fiddlers: Promoting traditional music since 1973
Submitted by Dawn Fautuex, CFVF

A group photo of your new friends. Watch
for more on FiddleRama and Fiddle Day Camp coming in March.
ur
aim is to maintain and promote Old Time Canadian Fiddle and Folk music,
through the encouragement of young and old alike, to develop their
musical talents, to develop warm friendships, and most of all, to have fun
and laughter, and enjoy the tunes we play.
We welcome new members any time, whether you learn by note or by ear. We
encourage younger musicians to experience the fun of playing in a group and
sharing your talent with us.
Do come and join our practices, held every Wednesday of the month (except
the first one) ) at 7:00 p.m at Hallmark Assisted Living, 3055 Princess
Street in Abbotsford V2T 4A8. Our players are at all levels of competence so
no need to feel shy about joining us. We offer free fiddle lessons for those
who are interested. We look forward to meeting you!
