arwin Douglas is a professional Mixed Martial Artist, is indigenous to the Stó:lō-Coast Salish territory from Cheam First Nation near Rosedale, BC, and, on February 16th, is entering the biggest battle of his life—he needs his Chilliwack fans with him in the cage.

Douglas is fighting for Battlefield Fight League (BFL), the biggest Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) promotion in BC in the main event against a rising star in the BFL middleweight division. This is Douglas' 9th professional fight and he will use his experience, phenomenal striking ability and determination to prove victorious.

Douglas fights MMA to build values of respect and discipline and uses his experiences to instil these teachings in his students at his gym, Four Directions Martial Arts Academy, where he is the head Muay Thai coach, and promoter of the successful WarPath MMA fight events held regularly in Chilliwack, BC.

Darwin has welcomed an intensive training camp run by the coaches at the Four Directions Academy—Mike Dowcett (Boxing), Sean O’Halloran (MMA), Harley Chappell (Brazilian Jiu Jitsu), and Americo Pena (Wrestling). Kultar Gill, owner of Mamba MMA in Abbotsford BC, will also be in Douglas’ corner—Gill is a world Muay Thai and MMA champion and is currently signed in the SuperFight League.

Four Directions Martial Arts and Mamba MMA are co-promoting the next WarPath MMA fight event Friday March 8th in Chilliwack, BC.
