So, here’s the scoop: We’re offering ten $40,000 production grants to produce a 360 VR video project (the “Immersive Project”) and a companion digital short (the “Linear Project”). This is your chance to use VR technology to do what you do best: tell stories.
We’re looking for projects that are rich in story — think: story first, platform second. Successful Immersive Projects will leverage the 360 experience to enrich the narrative.
Winners will also produce a short film that shares
the story and/or subject matter of the Immersive Project. For example, the
Linear Project could be a making-of or behind-the-scenes short, or it could tell

• A great idea for a pair of stories: an immersive project and companion linear project.
• Eligible Project Lead (Canadian Citizen and resident of BC or AB)
• Multimedia submission (60-second pitch video, title card, box art and production design)
• A budget breakdown
• A project team (optional)
