Last Saturday, the market that is usually bustling was somewhat quieter with many people out of town for the weekend, but 4 vendors did show up and had the park to themselves. Despite the slow day, vendors were upbeat and eager to talk about their items.

Sensational Bites had all kinds of wheat-free home baked cookies and mini cakes on their table. Just looking at it was enough to make you instantly famished.

"They're all gluten free, " said the mom whose daughter was busy on her iPhone.

Another table was "26 Little Little Letters" with boxes full of sorted, folding cards with special words, their origins and definitions. Wonderful little gifts without spending a fortune.

"My husband and I watched the entire season of 'Bones' while doing them," said the vendor.

There was Lyn Wilkinson with her Thr3ewishes table set up with beautiful handmade signs for everything. Her business card describes their business as ..."we are three women with a passion to recreate and redefine lost treasures into shabby chic pieces using chalk paint, inspiration and dreams..." www.thr3ewishes.weebly.com

Last but not least was a young girl and her dad selling beautiful homemade jewellery. Perfect for those not wanting to spend a fortune.

If you missed them last week, you'll be able to see them next Saturday 9:30am to 2pm.
