Weekly park sale a boon for local buyers and sellers
Inexpensive and made with

Central Community Park at 45951 Victoria Ave. in Chilliwack.
Saturday, the market that is usually bustling was somewhat quieter with many
people out of town for the weekend, but 4 vendors did show up and had the
park to themselves. Despite the slow day, vendors were upbeat and eager to
talk about their items.

table. Just looking at it was enough to make you instantly famished.

spending a fortune.
"My husband and I watched the entire season of 'Bones' while doing them,"
said the vendor.
There was Lyn Wilkinson with her Thr3ewishes table set up with beautiful
handmade signs for everything. Her business card describes their business as
..."we are three women with a passion to recreate and redefine lost
treasures into shabby chic pieces using chalk paint, inspiration and

Last but not least was a young girl and her dad selling beautiful homemade
jewellery. Perfect for those not wanting to spend a fortune.
