Finger Pickin' Good
Chilliwack's 25th Bluegrass Festival
5 on a String will be playing in the 25th Annual Bluegrass Festival August 26 at favourite local venue Tractorgrease.
It's been four years since the Chilliwack Bluegrass Festival packed it in after twenty-five years. Rod Hudson did an excellent job bringing bluegrass fans and performers together at various sites in Chilliwack.
"Our successful Bluegrass nights at the Tractorgrease Cafe got me thinking we need to start this up again at our new on-site performance area and cafe stage," says Tractorgrease owner Jeff Bonner. "We'll be featuring seven established Bluegrass bands and new Grass acts starting at 2pm. We'll have food and drink on-site and some limited campsites."
Enjoy a for a reasonably priced weekend for people who want to get away from it all up the Chilliwack River Valley, meet some locals and hear a great lineup. So get ready to pack up the babies and grab the old ladies for a memorable experience.
Jamming is encouraged if you're musically inclined.
Tickets are $25 for the day. Please phone 604 858 3814 or email Jeff here to purchase.
