"Please Don't Touch the Indians, British Columbia Kwantlen Native Joseph Dandurand's most recent play, has been published by Renegade Planets Publishing company, a small American Indian owned press in North Carolina. For those of us who have not seen the staged production, the play reads from beginning to end like a fluid and intemperate dream, moving from past to present, from metaphorical to historical, from symbolism to realism with the same disarming justification as dreamtime and space. Dandurand has so mischievously evoked another dimension that we are caught in its current, trust its momentum, and finally crash against our own obtuse notions of time and memory." From Project Muse.
Auditions: Wednesday August 21st and Thursday August 22nd, 2013 at the Stó:lō Resource Centre from 6 - 9pm. Please call 604-798-8143 for more information.
