Anderson and Point to speak at 20th Annual CCYC consultation April 26

his years Chilliwack Child and Youth Committee Annual Consultation is being held at City Life Church, 46641 Chilliwack Central, April 26, 8:30 am to 3:00 pm.
The event is intended for parents, youth, professionals and community partners. Our 9:00 am morning keynote speaker, Keli Anderson will be of special interest to parents and educators. She is the founder of FORCE Society for Mental Illness and is now the CEO of another organization she founded, National Institute For Families For Child and Youth Mental Health.
At 11:00 am, attendees will be participating in a Service Pathways exercise. Guests will be broken into groups and assigned a character and a scenario surrounding that character. The purpose of this exercise is to discover the services available and to identify the barriers in accessing services in Chilliwack.
There will be a buffet lunch and after lunch a short time of recognizing CYC Founders. The much sought after, Honourable Steven Point is the afternoon keynote speaker. It is going to be a fantastic day!
