Chilliwack Arts Council welcomes new director
Released by Melissa Oren, CAC
en Sibley has spent the past 8 years living in the Kootenays where she managed the local Artisan & Farmer's Market, the Art Walk and worked as the Assistant Executive Director of the Kaslo Jazz Etc. Festival Society.
Sibley loves being creative and although she has never had any formal art training she likes to dabble in many different mediums usually with a positive outcome.
"My artistic style would be best described as impromptu and fun. I plan things in my every day and work life, so when it comes to an artistic project I like to challenge myself to let things just happen", says Sibley.
Being an avid gardener she is happy to be back in the Fraser Valley and trade in her long johns for rubber boots and her snow shovel for a garden rake. On days off, if she's not in the garden, Jen is usually found hiking with her two dogs.
