Ed Sullivan Caravan of Stars

It's going to be a "really big shoe", featuring the legends of Rock n' Roll - Young Elvis, Jerry Lee Lewis, Eddie Cochran, Everly Brothers, Big Bopper, Ricky Nelson MC'd by Ed Sullivan.

Plus... Rockabilly Johnny Cash with the Memphis Beats Rock'n'Roll Band.

Ed Sullivan performer, Larry Merchison, informs audiences nightly… “Tonight, right here on this stage… you're in for a Reeeally Big Sheeew!” And, the touring “Ed Sullivan Caravan of Stars” is indeed big as it is the largest line-up of top quality tribute artists ever to tour in Canada. Lance Lipinsky (as Jerry Lee Lewis) from the Broadway hit musical “The Million Dollar Quartet” is the headline attraction on this superstar lineup and he alone is worth the price of admission. The show also includes Ted Torres as Young Elvis… Peter Jackson as Eddie Cochran plus superb impersonations of the Big Bopper… Ricky Nelson and the Everly Brothers

All of the featured cast members are among the most respected tribute artists in the world and their credentials are very well documented in tribute circles everywhere.

The Ed Sullivan Caravan of Stars is a one-time only tour featuring over 30 top ten hits performed by seven headline acts with the superb backing of Memphis Beats All-Star Rock'n'Roll Band. The show very tastefully re-creates the look and sound of the greatest rock'n'roll performers of all-time. The illusions are uncanny. The faces, the costumes, the movements, the songs… they are all the same. You couldn’t ask for anything more. It’s a fun-filled evening of authentic 1950’s rock’n’roll music. Don’t miss it!

Purple Day for Epilepsy

Purple Day—March 26th is the annual, global awareness day for epilepsy. Help promote Epilepsy Awareness. The Purple Day Committee is looking for ambassadors to spread the word about epilepsy awareness and Purple Day! As an Ambassador of Purple, you will be responsible for promoting Purple Day for epilepsy awareness in your area. This could involve hosting a Purple Day event in your community, inviting local schools and businesses to wear purple on March 26th.

Purple Day-March 26th is a Global Empowerment Day to raise awareness of epilepsy and to support children, their families and those affected by the disorder. Purple Day Ambassadors are also willing to speak to media about their involvement in Purple Day and the impact that epilepsy has had on their life.

Epilepsy affects nearly 300,000 people in Canada, three million people in the United States and over 50 million people worldwide. That's more people than multiple sclerosis, cerebral palsy, muscular dystrophy and Parkinson's disease combined. Yet, many people living with epilepsy still face barriers due to a lack of awareness about the disorder. In fact, often persons with epilepsy suffer more from the negative perceptions of others than the actual seizures.
