The biggest oil spill in history is taking place in the Gulf of Mexico as you read this. It has the potential to be a planet killer. Benzene levels are at hazardous levels for 30 feet above the entire surface of the gulf. Throw in Hurricane Alex and you've got a mess of magnanimous proportions.

A total of 33 ex-Olympic Village affordable housing units slated to be completed by early spring, will be re-constructed on School Street. CCS will have 11-units for at-risk youth and the Creative Centre Society will have 22-units for adults with mental illness.

The first day of summer brings the Voice closer to summer vacation. An unfortunate incident took place over the weekend that involved me almost being attacked by a trio of unruly people who are supposed to be parents.

 

I was cussed at, screamed at, humiliated, embarrassed and given the finger by them while their kids watched. Nice parents.
