thousands without power. As of 2 am there are still two areas – Squiaala and

Chilliwack Hospice Society will once again set up the Celebrate a Life tree
at Minter Country Gardens, 10015 Young Rd. Sunday, Dec. 5 to Dec. 22. This
is an opportunity to remember a loved one who has died by writing their name
on a butterfly ornament and hanging it on the tree. Volunteers will be on
hand from 2-8 pm.

community was hit hard when a 19-year-old woman tragically lost her life
after the car she was driving spun off Hwy. 1 at Annis Rd. Police attributed
the accident to not having snow tires.
